Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Charles developed a strong foundation of discipline, resilience, and competitiveness through participation in multiple sports, including soccer, football, kickboxing, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and wrestling. His early commitment to excellence translated into consistent high achievement across all athletic and academic pursuits.
At Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado, he excelled both on the field and in the classroom, playing defensive tackle and contributing to three state football championships. He graduated in 2003 with notable athletic honors, including All-Conference recognition in football and wrestling. These experiences reinforced his drive to succeed in every endeavor he undertakes.
He continued his athletic journey at the collegiate level, playing football for the Colorado State Rams. While competing, he earned a degree in Industrial Psychology, gaining valuable insights into human behavior, team dynamics, and organizational leadership.
Following graduation, he thrived in a management role at Bleacher Restorations of Colorado, where he further honed his operational and leadership skills. Seeking greater entrepreneurial opportunities, he founded Cross Into The Green, a lighting retrofitting company specializing in upgrading outdated T-12 ballasts to energy-efficient T-8 systems. This venture showcased his problem-solving abilities and business acumen in the commercial sector.
His career path eventually led him into the hospitality industry, where he discovered a true passion for leadership and creating exceptional guest experiences. He finds great joy in training and developing building engineers, mentoring teams to elevate operational standards and foster long-term professional growth. Deeply rooted in his Catholic faith, he remains actively involved in volunteer work within his church and community, dedicating time to service-oriented initiatives that support others and reflect his values of compassion and stewardship.
The combination of his athletic discipline, academic background in industrial psychology, hands-on management experience, commitment to developing talent, and faith-based service has proven instrumental in driving team performance and operational success within hotel environments.
